NIGHTSCHOOL is a 12-hour site-spesific performance, where over 20 participants leave for a shared journey across the night, towards an unknown destination. it is the school we should have went to but which we are attending now; it is a school that is dealing with the big questions of our time and change on personal and collective level.

NIGHTSCHOOL is a journey to a fantastic night, a possibility to share the unimaginable with someone else or just get exposed to art and darkness. During the 12-hour performance from 7pm to 7am the participants learn, teach and love those things that weren’t taught in school before. NIGTSCHOOL is a gentle but radical suggestion of a future community. It is based on the ideas of equality, caring and sharing.

NIGHTSCHOOL on kestollinen tilasidonnainen esitys, jossa 20 osallistujaa lähtee jaetulla matkalle yön yli, kohti tuntematonta päämäärää. Se on koulu, joka meidän olisi ollut syytä käydä, mutta jonka käymme nyt: se on koulu joka käsittelee yhteiskunnallista ja henkilökohtaista muutosta ja aikamme isoja kysymyksiä.

NIGHTSCHOOL on hyytävä matka fantastiseen yöhön, mahdollisuus jakaa kuvittelematon toisten kanssa tai vain altistua taiteelle ja pimeydelle. 12-tuntisen esityksen aikana iltaseitsemästä aamuseitsemään osallistujat oppivat, opettavat ja rakastavat niitä asioita joita heille ei opetettu koulussa aiemmin.

NIGHTSCHOOL on lempeä mutta radikaali ehdotus tulevaisuuden yhteisöstä. Se pohjautuu ajatuksille tasa-arvosta, välittämisestä ja jakamisesta.
